| Egyptian Cotton Sheets Are Heavenly |

|
Don't underestimate the importance of quality sheets. They are essential to a good night's sleep.
Material quality and style are equally important in selecting the proper sheets for your bedding needs. Silk sheets
feel luxurious and smooth whereas cotton sheets feel crisp and cool. Even though sheets are often hidden under a comforter,
why can’t they look and more important feel good? By choosing your sheets carefully and replacing them periodically,
you'll be rewarded with a more comfortable bed and a better night's sleep!
One thing is certain: Crisp, white, luxury sheets never go out of style and are always a good selection. Luxury sheets
are also available in colors, tasteful prints, eye-catching solids, plaids, and patterns in all sizes and price ranges
For comfort and durability, one-hundred-percent cotton is a natural, breathable fabric and is still king in the manufacture
of luxury bedding. Sheets with a higher thread count are also woven from extra-long-staple cottons. Egyptian cotton has long,
staple fibers that result in the most durable, soft, and luxurious sheets. Sleeping on Egyptian cotton bedding is
considered to be the most luxurious night’s sleep and worth every penny.

More important than the color or pattern in making your selection is the thread count. The higher the thread count, the
softer and more durable the sheet will be.
Flannel sheets are typically used in cold climates or in winter because the napped finish provides warmth.
Cotton/polyester blend sheets (50/50 or 60/40) resist wrinkling but can be stiff. Look for a high thread count (above 220)
to ensure quality in cotton-polyester blends. Since polyester does not "breathe," it can be hot and uncomfortable.
Silk satin sheets are ideal for cold climates because the material traps warmth. These sheets feel smooth
and luxurious, but they are expensive and must be dry-cleaned. Avoid satin-style sheets made of polyester; they feel scratchy
against the skin. If you try them for the ambience, you may soon want to replace them with your comfy cotton sheets.
Not all sheets fit all beds. Measure your mattress depth before purchasing sheets. If you have an extra deep mattress,
buy sheets that will fit! Keep in mind, however, that on budget-priced sheets, frequent washing tends to fade colors, and
they can be less durable.
Today cotton sheets are easy care. Gone are the days when you had to iron cotton sheets! New processes
in the manufacturing of textiles allow most cotton sheets to come out of the dryer virtually wrinkle free.
